In a recent days I could see huge transitions from Microsoft’s Internet Explorer(IE) to Mozilla’s Firefox web browser as they are keep coming up with innovative features. Despite IE had rival at every period of time from a way back 1990s, this time the level of domination and garbing attention has become drastic.

Firefox has been steadily eroding Internet Explorer’s claim of superiority by its distinct ways listed below,
- Open source and Free to use
- More transparent and secure
- Huge number of cool add-ons(extensions)
- Lot of innovative features
- Highly customizable and extendable
- Much faster
and I would also tell that IE itself has burnt its finger by,
- Releasing IE 7 with Microsoft’s Genuine Advantage Validation(later they made it optional)
- Not enough proactive on adding features
- No major changes in its newer version while comparing with its competitors
Both are getting ready with their new releases, will wait and see that who is going to win this battle. Anyway at the end of the day, they are keep taking up our online experience to new heights.
Even you can try firefox once, still if you are not. Lots of cool add-ons!

As an outcome of my recent project change, I started my thinking more on this topic. When I look at my new product(project) I wonder how these people are thinking beyond out of the box to come up with such innovative features.
Yes, simply they included ‘Developer Tool Kit’(like we have in visual studio) as one of their features. with that you can customize the product in what ever way you want like customizing menus, dialogs, controls, databases, reports, etc.. This product has come up with extreme level of customization irrespective of different customers and their business. Added to that it carries all the legacy that comes with C++ like low weight – less expensive application. By packing those incredible features they are dominating in their industry.
While looking at that, the level of ability on dominating software industry by product is keep going up.
Lets start with the facts.,
In application,
- It is always single client specific
- Bounded with limited development cost
- So obviously the level of quality will be questionable
- Only focus on given environment
- Very expensive
in the other hand while coming to product,
- High degree of focus on innovation
- Much more robust product
- Highly scalable and flexible
- Open to evolution and interoperability
- Diversified user and environment
- Becoming more and more innovative from their inputs/comments
- Above all, it is expensive product at low price.
These features has become mandate to grab huge market, so obviously successful products are carrying them to the industry.
Your valuable comments on my view please…

Sony Erricssion mobile secret codes to access internal system:
1. Sony Ericsson Secret Menu: -> * <- <- * means press joystick, arrow keys to the right and <- means left.) We can see phone model, software info, IMEI, configuration info, sim lock status, REAL time clock, total call time and text labels. You can also test your phones services and hardware from this menu (main display, camera, LED/illumination, Flash LED, keyboard, earphone, speaker, microphone, radio and vibrator tests)
2. IMEI Number: *#06# -For checking the International Mobile Equipment Identity.
3. Lockstatus: <- * * <- -SIM lock – Do not lock your phone if you don’t know the unlock code. This is another good check before you buy any phone, especially second hand ones. If phone is SIM locked, you may not be able to switch to other GSM operators.
4. Shortcut to last dialed numbers: 0#
5. Shortcut to sim numbers: On main menu type a number and press #
6. If you change the language from default to any other language, then it may be difficult to switch to default language. The shortcut is very simple. Just press . stands for right arrow button or joystick.
Note: Try these codes at your own risk! I don’t accept any complaints. Some of these codes may not work.
